Cornish Lawns’ Should Add More Colour to their Plain Blue Brand SERP

What your customer sees when they search your brand name is vital. Having your website rank on your Brand name is the strict minimum. But it certainly isn’t enough. Without SERP features, your brand will always look second-rate. Your customers expect to see a Google result that is positive, rich and convincing when they search your brand name. It is up to you to make that happen.

Cornish Lawns is a very good example, they have a cool line up of bluelinks on their Brand SERP but the overall message this Brand SERP portrays is unimpressive.

As your teacher said back at school – “tries hard but could do better” 😉

Kalicube’s #DailyBrandSERP  August 11th 2021 presented by the Brand SERP Guy, Jason Barnard.

Transcript:

Hi, I am Jason Barnard, the Brand SERP Guy. Today I’m looking at the Brand SERP for Cornish Lawns, a small company in Bodmin, England, wherever that might be. I don’t know who they are, but they have a Brand SERP so I’m incredibly interested. Now you look at that, they’ve got great reviews. They’ve got their Google My Business, nothing wrong with this Brand SERP, except it’s pretty boring.

On the right-hand side. We only have bluelinks. They could perhaps start to try to develop their content strategy to get image boxes, video boxes. That would be a great plus because it would make this look much richer and much more impressive to their audience when their audience searches their brand name on Google.

Thank you very much.
