Why is there No Knowledge Panel on Coral Windows’ Brand SERP?

This should be a shoo-in for a Knowledge Panel. Coral Windows is a major player in their industry in their geo-region. And yet no Knowledge Panel. Just Google My Business. The brand image Google is projecting for Coral Windows is VERY disappointing. Customer trust is the pillar of all businesses. When the level of the customer’s trust is not met, they often look elsewhere for another supplier.

Coral Windows already have a great Brand SERP: they’ve nailed the essentials a customer will look for on the left rail. But they could build more credibility by gaining a knowledge panel.

Give your Brand visitors the level of trust they are looking for and let the buying cycle begin!

Transcript:

Hi, I’m Jason Barnard from Kalicube. I’m the Brand SERP Guy and today I’m looking at the Brand SERP for Coral Windows. They’re a multi outlet, double blazing company in Yorkshire, which is my, where I was actually born, which is quite cool. And they’ve got a great Brand SERP. They’ve got the map pack.

They’ve got their own site with these great rich site links. They’ve got people also ask, they’ve got videos, they’ve got images. They’ve got great reviews. Nothing to say, oh yes, I do have one thing to say. They don’t have a knowledge panel. They look like a good local company with multiple outlets, but they don’t look like a big company that you can really trust.

And that’s what the knowledge panel does for you. Now, if they could get a knowledge panel, they would look much, much more impressive to their audience where their audience searches their brand name and the first sign of what they should be doing is here. There is no about page. Why is that? Really quickly.

Their about page. Isn’t actually about them. It’s about why you should buy from them. It’s a sales page, Google isn’t comfortable. Google doesn’t really understand what the page is for. Doesn’t understand that it talks about who they are, what they’re doing, who their audience is. It doesn’t appear here. That’s a big sign that Google is struggling to create this knowledge panel over here on the right hand side, because it simply hasn’t understood where the entity home is, where it can find out all the information about the company from the horse’s mouth, without the sales.

Thank you very much.
