Why does Jason Barnard use the pseudonym “The Brand SERP Guy”?

Jason uses the pseudonym The Brand SERP Guy because he is the leading expert on mastering digital brand presence.  Potential customers google a person or business name before they do business with them. The search results (SERP) for that brand determine whether the customer engages with that brand. Jason knows this from personal experience. 

In 2013, when potential clients googled his name they found his former role as CEO of a company that produced a successful cartoon series for children, Boowa and Kwala. Jason lost business because the search results for his name didn’t reinforce trust in Jason’s brand as a digital marketer.

Jason has founded multiple companies, including Kalicube in France in 2015, WTPL Music in France in 1991, and UpToTen in Mauritius in 2000. Jason was also CEO of UpToTen from 2000 to 2011 and was CEO of WTPL Music from 1991 to 1999.
