Faber Castell Doing a Great Job Answering People Also Ask Queries

How many questions have you answered on the People Also Ask on your Brand SERP? One may be good, Two is great. Hmmm, none at all? Quite bad.

The people who see your Brand SERP are the very people who are most important to your business — clients and prospects are the obvious examples, but also journalists, potential hires, investors and many others. These vitally important people see these questions and you clearly want to be the one providing the answers.

The expansion of People Also Ask in the search results

This is a Brand SERP fact often overlooked and as of today, less than 10% of Brands answer the questions about or surrounding their Brands, which is a pity.

But Faber Castell did a great job by answering 50% of the questions on their PAA 🙂

Hi, I’m Jason Barnard. I’m the Brand SERP Guy and today, we’re looking at the Brand SERP for Faber Castell, who are an art supplies company.

Now, right at the top, as you would expect, there’s lots of ads with these delightful images. On the right hand side, we’ve got a knowledge panel with more products. So obviously, very product-oriented for this company.

But what I wanted to focus on today, are the People Also Ask. Now, here we have four People Also Ask, very specific questions. And they answered this one, which is great. They answered this one too, which is great because they have both of these two sites, faber-castell.com, and fabercastell.com.

They don’t answer all the questions, but 50% of those initial four questions is actually not bad going. Most brands don’t answer any questions in the People Also Ask on their Brand SERP. And remember there are 60% of Brand SERPs for companies that contain People Also Ask. And yet only 10% of brands answer even one of those questions.

So Faber Castell are doing relatively well. I would suggest that they could perhaps answer all four questions, grab control of that People Also Ask. Make sure that the answer is correct and favorable to the brand.
