Transcript:

Hi I’m Jason Barnard. I’m the Brand SERP Guy and today, we’re looking at the Brand SERP for Supreme, who are an American clothing company. Now today, I’m going to focus on the left rail. Looking at the top, we can see they’ve got these rich sitelinks, the descriptions aren’t great, the titles aren’t great and we can see immediately just from the Brand SERP that behind these links, the pages don’t have much written content. We’ve covered that multiple times on the Daily Brand SERP.

So I’m going to skip pass of this idea of a site that doesn’t provide Google with enough information for it to be able to provide great sitelinks for Supreme’s audience when they’re searching their brand name and scroll down to this, which is the popular products.

Now here, you might think that is an advert, but in fact, it’s not. We can see here that this information Google has gathered from around the web, it’s organic. So, here we have an example of a company that sells products that has those products in its Brand SERP in the left rail. And there’s a lot of them.

So this demonstrates how incredibly important it is to make sure that you educate Google about not only your brand, but the products you manufacture and sell. So that Google can accurately represent them in your Brand SERP in these organic results.

Thank you very much and I’ll see you soon.
