Knowledge Graph versus SERP Volatility

In this short video clip, Jason Barnard, The Brand SERP Guy and CEO and Founder of Kalicube, explains that while there has been significant SERP volatility recently, there is also this growing Knowledge Graph. He cites examples of people like Austin Esezobor, who triggered a Knowledge Panel, and Anton Shulke, who successfully got into the Knowledge Graph through the Kalicube Pro and Knowledge Panel course. And what’s even more delightful is that Anton Shulke not only secured his Knowledge Panel, but also a topic in the Knowledge Graph. Woohoo! Watch the video right to the end.

The Growing Significance of the Knowledge Graph

[00:00:00] The Brand SERP Guy (Jason Barnard): Hi, I’m Jason Barnard, The Brand SERP Guy from Kalicube and generally speaking, I talk about Knowledge Panels, the knowledge graph and brand SERPs.

This SERP volatility has been hugely important the last few months but I would argue that this, the Knowledge Graph, is going to become more important in the coming months and years.

[00:00:07] The Brand SERP Guy (Jason Barnard): And today, I’m not going to talk about the huge SERP volatility that’s been going on all summer because behind that, what most people haven’t noticed is the knowledge graph has been growing. And people like Austine Esezobor, who uses Kalicube Pro and has taken our courses on Knowledge Panels, has got himself a beautiful knowledge panel here, got himself into the knowledge vault here. And also we have our friend Anton Shulke, who is now in the knowledge graph with a great confidence score, he has his Knowledge Panel thanks to Kalicube. I’ve been helping him personally with that but better than that, Anton Shulke has a topic in the knowledge graph.

[00:00:46] The Brand SERP Guy (Jason Barnard): This SERP volatility has been hugely important the last few months but I would argue that this, the knowledge graph, is going to become more important in the coming months and years. Thank you very much and I’ll see you soon.
