Pringles Flavors are of course available all around planet Earth. But the Knowledge Panel for Pringles doesn’t reflect that all around the world.
For example, searching from the US and UK, the Brand SERPs are very different… suggesting that culturally there are very different intents. Intriguing, to say the least.
The first noticeable difference is the Map Pack in New York that offers store options – an option that is not available in UK. But, for me, the most intriguing difference is the flavors present in New York which is missing in the UK. A mystery that makes me want to figure out “why” there is such a difference, and how can we influence it!

Hi, I’m Jason Barnard. I’m the Brand SERP Guy and today, we’re looking at the Brand SERP for Pringles. And more specifically the difference between the Brand SERP in America and the Brand SERP in the UK. Now, here we are in New York. And as you might’ve seen, as I scroll down incredibly quickly in New York, Google is offering me the option to go and buy Pringles in a local supermarket in the UK. That is absolutely not one of the options that Google thinks I’m going to take up. And the second difference that I find intriguing is here on the right-hand side, Google is showing me different Pringles flavors if I’m in the US, but in the UK, that information is missing. Intriguing.
