Loren Baker is the founder of Search Engine Journal, he is someone notable and has what it takes to get his own knowledge panel but how come when I search for his name, a knowledge panel doesn’t appear? One reason might be that he has TWO competing knowledge panels! One that recognizes him as an entity related to a Book and the other as the founder of SEJ. Merging them might just trigger a knowledge panel on his Personal Brand SERP.

Hi, today’s Brand SERP is Loren Baker. We all know him in the SEO industry author at Search Engine Journal. And in fact, the founder of Search Engine Journal, he’s got a great Brand SERP with his Twitter boxes, his images, and lots of blue links, perhaps missing some videos. But what is really missing here is the knowledge panel on the right, but there’s some surprises.
Now, he does have a knowledge panel. It just doesn’t show in his SERP. How can I find it? Here’s one way. Search Engine Journal website created by Loren Baker and I get this entity box here at the top, which is delightful.
Can I do better? Yes, I can. Loren Baker about, his knowledge panel appears. Brilliant, but it says here, not founder of Search Engine Journal, but SEO 101, Learn the Basics of Search Engine Optimization. If I click there, I found a second knowledge panel for Loren Baker. So, Loren Baker has a duplicate knowledge panel that he might want to sort out.
