Can You Own Your Official Brand Color in Google? Twice Do!

That title doesn’t make sense until you know that Twice is a K-pop girl group. The popularity of their official color code is now also recognized by Google! Now the keyword “apricot and neon magenta” is like a branded term: all the bluelinks and the image boxes are about the girl group. They have achieved something special by owning their colors in this manner !

Kalicube’s #DailyBrandSERP  July 30th 2021 presented by the Brand SERP Guy, Jason Barnard.

Hi, and welcome. Today, we’re looking at apricot and neon magenta. Doesn’t sound like a brand name, but this is an astonishing achievement. Whereby a brand owns a set of colors.

Now, what’s interesting here is apricot and neon magenta. We see these images and we just get the impression of color. But as you can see here, the word twice keeps coming up. And in fact, what Twice have managed to do. Is own the color. They’re a girl group, J-Pop band from, I think Japan. They now own the combination of colors, apricot and neon magenta on Google.

Pretty good going. Thanks a lot.
