How can your Brand SERP give you insights into technical SEO issues on your Website?
Looking at the Brand SERP for Coffee Circle, I notice a meta description in German on an English-language SERP. In Germany, it might make sense for Google to do that. In New York it doesn’t. What’s my take on this? And what technical SEO problem does Coffee Circle’s Brand SERP reveal?
Kalicube’s #DailyBrandSERP August 4th 2021 presented by the Brand SERP Guy, Jason Barnard.
Hi and welcome. Today, I’m gonna be looking at the Brand SERP for Coffee Circle in New York, a Brand SERP that gave me an unexpected insight into a technical SEO issue for Circle Products GmbH, a German company.
Now, what did I find out here, is we have the domain name, Coffee Circle. And if we scroll down a little bit, we’ll see here that it’s in German. We’re in New York, in English, on Google. Google thinks we’re looking for a coffee or maybe this company, but it’s showing me results in German. Now that means they have some kind of problem with their hreflang or maybe the language choice they’re giving users when they arrive on the site. So, a Brand SERP can give you a astonishing insights into the more fundamental issues with your SEO.
Thank you very much.
