BerryClean Are Making Great Use of their Google My Business Listing

Local business survive and thrive more with Google My Business and one of the most groovy benefits we get is posting updates on our special offers and events – for free!

Now that all the information we need is inside Google, it has become our #1 go-to to every search. There’s an approximately 5.6 billion searches per day globally in Google alone, how many of those queries have transactional intent do you think? Quite a lot of, to say the very least! And many of those are local. Some local to you and relevant to your business. Each and every one is an opportunity to sell, and local businesses should grasp that opportunity 😉

Here, BerryClean’s Brand SERP shows product prices, and even an awesome discount to their potential customers which is smart.

Transcript:

Hi, I’m Jason Barnard. I’m the Brand SERP Guy and today, we’re looking at the Brand SERP for BerryClean, a local bricks and mortars business in San Francisco. And it’s great. They’re doing a really good job. They’ve got some lovely rich site links, obviously ranking first. They’ve got their social media.

They’ve got some, good results with here. They’ve actually managed to master Yelp, which isn’t always easy for local businesses. So congratulations to them. And particularly on the right hand side, this Google My Business full of helpful information that they’ve provided, including where you can call them where you can get your appointments.

And I wanted to focus on how they’re using this as free advertising. So then they’re able here to push their product out on their Google My Business when people search that brand name and they’ve even been smart enough to divide it into two different categories, even though they actually only have two products, which takes up a little bit more space on that, Google My Business, that they actually control.

And then if you go down the bottom, they’re offering specials at the bottom, using that as an opportunity to communicate with their audience when their audience search that brand name, that there’s something special going on this week, this month, or whatever that might be. So, great work from BerryClean.

Congratulations to you. That’s a great local Brand SERP. Thank you very much for watching. See you soon.
