Disney, Kalicube, Sony and Hallmark took multiple domains to have a direct control over all the blue links ranking on their Brand SERP. In this respect (what I call “doing a Disney”), Screaming Frog is a legend. Why? Because it only took a single super powerful domain to control all the blue links on their Brand SERP. Wonderful!
However, as is often the case, international results vary. So this trick holds true in the UK and not to the US where other domains they don’t control have taken over the bottom half of the SERP.
Still, a super astonishing Brand SERP like no other. Watch until the end!

Hi and welcome. I’m Jason Barnard. I’m the Brand SERP Guy and today, we’re looking at the Brand SERP for Screaming Frog. We looked at Dan Sharp, the founder of Screaming Frog, earlier in the week. Today, we’re looking at Screaming Frog, the software and the marketing company, a bit of a Screaming Frog geek-out week, which is lovely.
What I wanted to point out today is here we are in London and you’ll notice every single bluelink comes from their site. This is what we call do to ‘do a Disney’. And this is an astonishing Disney because it isn’t multiple sites as Disney have done. If you look back to the Daily Brand SERP about Disney, this is all the same site and even more interesting in the US, that is no longer the case.
They occupied the top half. But then if we go down here, we can see it isn’t the same at the bottom. So in the US, here we are in New York, they don’t ‘do a Disney’. In the UK, obviously very pertinent. They do a total Disney and an astonishing Disney because it’s all one domain.
