Domestika Got their Knowledge Panel in Just Two Months!

Back in July, Domestika’s beautiful Brand SERP had one glaring omission I was eager to point out. I thought it would take some time for them to get their knowledge panel to fill the empty space on the right hand side of their Brand SERP. But now, after just two short months, they have already triggered a knowledge panel! Unclaimed, however.

Suspecting they have seen the first #DailyBrandSERP about them, I’m hoping they’ll see this again and claim their knowledge panel 🙂 Great job Domestika!

Transcript:

Hi, I’m Jason Barnard, I’m the Brand SERP Guy and today, we’re looking at the Brand SERP for Domestika. Now, we already looked at Domestika’s Brand SERP a couple of months ago in July, 2021, but I wanted to revisit it. Now, if we look on the left-hand side, they have lots of ads. They’ve got their rich sitelinks.

They’ve got people also ask. Their Twitter boxes. It’s a reasonable Brand SERP with some great reviews down at the bottom. But in fact, last time we looked at it, we were looking at this right-hand side over here and they didn’t have a knowledge panel. And that was one of the points that I made suggesting that getting a knowledge panel wouldn’t be too difficult for them.

And it turns out it wasn’t. Eight weeks later, they have a knowledge panel. It looks pretty well developed. That’s some great work by Domestika. I don’t know if they saw the #DailyBrandSERP about themselves and got to work with their entity home stating who they are, what they do and who their audience is then pointing out to the corroborative sources all around the web from their entity home. And then correcting the corroborative sources to trigger this knowledge panel, whether they did or not. They got the knowledge panel, I suspect they might’ve worked on it, but we’ll never really know unless they contact me and tell me, so this is a success story. When you have a clear statement of who you are, what you do and who your audience is, you have an entity home here, it’s domestika.org with the little world icon.

That means it’s their entity home. Google has seen from the horse’s mouth – Domestika, who they are, what they’re doing, who their audience is. And it’s been able to corroborate all that information. What John Mueller calls reconciliation to bring it all together into this beautiful knowledge panel. Now, I would suggest they can claim it using search console.

Thank you very much. And I’ll see you soon.
